ABOUT Dr. PRAVEEN SARDA - Best Arthroscopy Surgeon in Ahmedabad

After completing his masters (M.S.) in Orthopaedics with a Gold Medal, he went to the UK where he obtained higher training and specialist fellowships from London, France and Germany.
He worked as a consultant in the NHS UK for a few years, and returned back to India in 2019. As a leading expert in the field of shoulder and knee surgery, he has published extensively in peer reviewed journals. This includes describing a new surgical technique to deal with complex clavicle fractures.
His special interests include shoulder and elbow fractures, frozen shoulder, tendon inflammation etc. In addition, he also specialize in shoulder and elbow replacement for arthritis. Arthroscopy (key hole surgery) for sports injuries, tendon problems, and joint instability is also my forte.
He has received some great patient feedback over the years, and my motto in practice is to “Get it right first time.” He has experience of more than 10,000 operations and 20 years in Orthopaedics and trauma surgery. He has particular expertise in shoulder and elbow conditions and is an expert in operations for shoulder dislocation, rotator cuff repair, SLAP tear, elbow arthroscopy, knee arthroscopic procedures, etc. He specializes in elbow/shoulder arthroplasty and other complex operations for failed bankart repair, revision of failed joint replacement, and complex trauma.
He also has a special interest in acromioclavicular joint dislocations associated with clavicle fractures and has published his results in one of the biggest series of such cases in the world.
He is passionate about research and has good experience of designing and running research trials. Three Randomised control trials (RCTs) done under his guidance have already been published. In addition, he has published numerous other papers that have already been cited in over 350 peer reviewed publications.
- Dr. Sarda loves spending any spare time with his wife and two young sons. He loves travelling to different parts of the world.
- He is a keen music enthusiast and likes to play the flute and guitar. He also enjoys swimming, badminton, and table tennis.
